Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Heider College of Business at Creighton University.
I received a Ph.D. in economics from University of Kentucky (2022), an M.A. in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (2017), and a B.A. in economics from Chongqing Technology and Business University (2014).
My primary research areas are applied microeconomics, health economics, and labor economics. I use applied econometrics methods to evaluate the intended and unintended effects of public programs or policies on health-related outcomes. My current research studies the impact of social health insurance programs on vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and children. I am also interested in studying the effects of education on health.
